Lily chose to translate the picture book THE GUARDIANS OF CHILDHOOD by author William Joyce before knowing about the animated film THE RISE OF THE GUARDIANS (Developed from this series). At that time, her mother let Lily read the English version of "Man in the Moon", and Lily immediately liked the author's storytelling and beautiful drawings. After that, the Book Hunters introduced Lily to two other guardians, Jack Frost and The Sandman. So Lily began translating the book series THE GUARDIANS OF CHILDHOOD, and was edited and published by writer Ha Thuy Nguyen, admin of Book Hunter, and other uncles and aunts in Book Hunter.

The story begins when the Nightmare King Pitch attacks and destroys the Golden Age: The Moon Man loses his happy family and becomes a lost baby with a moon sail that has now become the moon. From the moon, the Moon Man searched for the guardians from his childhood memories, those who had experienced the Golden Age, namely Jack Frost and the God of Dreams.
PEOPLE OF THE MOON
The Moon Man is the first guardian to listen to and protect children on Earth, the guardian who awakens the other guardians. Before becoming a guardian, the Moon Man, like many other children, had a happy family in the Golden Era. But then, Pitch - the King of Nightmares attacked and destroyed the Golden Age, taking away the Moon Man's most loved ones when he was just a baby who could only cry "Tut tut!"
The small 72-page picture book titled "The Moon Man" recounts the journey of a lost child from the Golden Age to become a guardian.
The Moon People do not "appear" in the movie "Rise of the Guardians", but always appear silently through the moonlight. And it is the moonlight that awakens the memories and strength within each guardian of childhood.
JACK FROST
The mischievous boy Jack Frost, the focus of the movie "Rise of the Guardians" has a beautiful and heroic past.
Unlike the content in the movie, the 60-page picture book "Jack Frost" tells about a different past of Jackson covered with ice every step of the way.
Originally the protector of the Moon People as a child with the name Nightlight, Jack Frost fought heroically to the end against the Nightmare King Pitch and fell to Earth. If the Dream God falls into an eternal golden sleep, Night Light is frozen and when he wakes up, he loses all his memories.
The picture book tells the story of Jack Frost becoming a guardian and choosing a life to protect children like Nightlight protected the Moon People.
GOD OF DREAM
The God of Dreams, also known as Sandman, made an impression in the movie "Rise of the Guardians" because of his lovely appearance and magnificent strength. The golden sand color from the magic of the God of Dreams created the most beautiful footage of the masterpiece.
The God of Dreams is the protector of dreams and the realization of dreams in the Golden Age. During the battle with Pitch, the God of Dreams bravely fought and died, falling into an eternal deep sleep. The Moon Man awakened the God of Dreams and assigned him the task of protecting the dreams of children on Earth.
The 60 pages of the picture book "Dream God" are magical and bright, guiding adults and children to face their own fears and nightmares.

Since the book came out, Lily has been happy to receive compliments and reviews every day. The most fun is seeing the children holding books in their hands and reading passionately. It's even more fun because many aunts and uncles, even though they are many years old, still love the series like Lily does. The aunts and uncles also pointed out things that Lily hadn't thought of.

The Guardians of Childhood accompanied Lily on her journey to give books to children
As soon as The Guardians of Childhood was officially launched, thanks to the "book porters" of Rural Cultural Books, the books were delivered to children in the countryside just in time for Christmas, including An Nhien parish, a parish with the same name as Lily.
The Guardians of Childhood also followed Lily and her mother to Ha Tinh during Tet Nham Dan 2022. Here, her mother took Lily to Cam Son Pagoda, and mother and daughter had happy moments celebrating the age of books for their children. Little friends follow their parents to the temple ceremony. The children who received the books were very excited and opened them to read immediately. From 2019 until now, Lily and her mother have been together with Lily to celebrate good books for children on Tet.
